Hi again.
It has been two and a half years now since I last sailed the seven seas doing the gig on cruise ships. At this time we had many lock downs and restricted travel etc. During this period, I have been busy writing, recording, and studying music production, as well as mastering my material. So it definitely hasn't been time wasted.
I have managed to record the "Keep A Smile" album completely from scratch, this features a collection of mainly new songs. I've re-mastered the "Midnight Cafe" album and changed one or two of it's original tracks. Finally "Rollin Along" has gotten the same treatment as the "Midnight" album, including a name change. It's now known as "Sea Of Yellow". This one is due for release in July / August. All three albums were self recorded, in other words I played everything on them myself. As well as putting down all the vocals, which is time consuming, but well worth while. I had help on just two tracks from all three albums. All three can be downloaded from the album shop on this website. They are also available for download and listening, from all major digital platforms. Also in progress is another new project, my new book! Yes, something I've been planning for a long time. In fact all through my career I've kept notes, and diaries also, any photos I could get my hands on. So I'm collecting information from them, along with my memories and experiences and putting them all into a book. Naturally like many other entertainers I've spent a lot of my life on the road, as well as traveling the world doing cruise work. Which have given me a lot of stories to tell. Hopefully this book will turn out to be both humorous and honest. I expect it will be available in paper and e-book form. Which means it will be possible to download it from here and also from other sites. I hope to launch this project sometime towards the end of this year or early next year. So between the albums and the book, it can be pretty hectic at times!
